Beaver, my hat goes off to you. You are lucky to be in such an excellent family owned business. Many businesses do not operate under those conditions. As a public employee I treasure the contract I work under and collective bargaining. It protects me from the antitax zealots who would have me working for minimum wage, no benefits and no retirement package because they claim they are paying for it with their tax dollars. Our public employees provide countless necessary services to everyone in our country and they should be respected and valued for the services they provide.
