What a great shot with lots of atmosphere. The tower was handled by Comox, and while it may not be the only interlocking plant on a logging railroad, none others come to mind. The stop sign is of some interest in that it is operated by the tower. The operating lever was an old reverse quadrant off of a Shay locomotive. There was a grade crossing on the E&N just to the left of the picture, and that was the reason for the sign.
