I only met him briefly at his book signing at CSRM a few years ago. It was almost like sitting in front of a God. And I don't say that lightly. When I first saw his photography in TRAINS Magazine in 1972(me,15) I managed to locate as many old back issues to see more. As the seventies and eighties wore on, you could see his influence on scores of western photographers, as well as some awesome photo essays he did in color. I'm sure David P. Morgan will be waiting for him on the platform.
But we have/will miss you....... Godspeed.
