How about a normal 8-hour workday and two days a week off, like normal people? Massive amounts of studies since the 1920's have shown those are about the most work you can do before performance significantly decreases. That's why we have a 5-day work week and no more than 8 hours of labor a day. Management and unions in other industries have come to this conclusion in study after study since the 1920's.

These things are often the result of not adhering to the findings described above. That, and the abysmal state of America's food industry today--shame on them!

Oh yes, by all means, let's disparage any safety system that doesn't apply in one particlar situation. Get a clue.
I love how when the Union Pacific finally saw the light and tried to implement decent working hours rules a few years ago it was the greedy workers that scotched that whole idea; God forbid anyone keep them from working until they drop just so they can work the system for maximum overtime money. Wouldn't even help themselves when the opportunity arose.
