I wasn't even going to hang out at the ACE station to watch trains. My plan was to walk to the Amtrak station as soon as the ACE train arrived in Stockton.

As for cameras, I only had a tiny digital camera which would fit in my pocket.

I was aware of ACE's schedule. This would have been done on a weekday.
