While not a climate change "denier" I do find all this business about the "hottest ever" in 135 years of the 4 billon year + history of the planet to be just plain silly. We humans are pretty damn impressed with ourselves, aren't we? I don't think we really matter as much in the broad scheme of things as we think we do. Nature could (and probably will, eventually) wipe us out in an instant.....and there will be absolutely nothing we can do about it.
