There was a connection of sorts in the single slip switch at the bottom of the fly-over for the Berkeley lines, where the track leading up the fly-over crossed a connection from electric 6 which went into the east end of the Wood St yard. I'm fairly certain this was installed after the abanonment of the electric lines in 1941 because it had to do with the OT's access to the Army Base. From this it was possible to go from the Santa Fe to electric 6, either by sawing back and forth or by going out the west of Wood St yard, and then to the signal for 16th St tower. However, there was never any reason to make these sorts of moves.
