Apparently you don't quite get my point!

No politician, and no party is supporting the real needs of anyone - NONE! Never were! Never will! Unless you consider "keepin' 'em down in the projects", to be adequate support. And if you do - you should have to live that way yourself! If anyone ever does get their real needs met at the public trough, it is a pure accident. A quirk of fate. Or even more likely, it was by their own hard work somewhere else, despite all the insane rules and bureaucratic interference with doing just that.

What politicians are really spending us into oblivion for; is merely to buy themselves enough votes to stay in office. They ain't (not one of 'em) out to actually help a soul. That's why the problem of poverty in this country never gets solved (and never will) - no matter who is in office - no matter who promised it.

Let's face it - It is in the exploitician's best interest, to keep us all as dependent as possible - ON THEM! As many of us as they can anyhow - with lots of smoke and lots of mirrors if necessary.

And boy do they ever hate the independent thinker! That will not buy their bullshit, or suck on their hind teat unless forced. And we mustn't dare to look behind the curtain either! Or dare to question the new Emperor in any way! Just listen to all the constant media blather whenever someone does - it is all quite obvious!

And yes, the only reason they will "take money from the public" (assuming anyone has any to to be taken), for any purpose; is to serve their own putrid interests - period. But it is all really our own damn fault, actually. Enough of us fools buy the "free lunch" routine, every damn time they offer it, no matter how many times they got screwed before. We keep voting these jack booted thugs back into office!

Perhaps we all need to re-study the history of Germany between the two world wars. The striking similarity between then and now, is truly scary (to those of us old farts that actually were taught it).

That is especially so in how so many are literally demanding: that law abiding citizens be disarmed (with no due process of law), that the opposition be truly silenced; and that we must all ignore the obvious in every question. German history shows us what could happen next - especially after a duly elected congress is bullied and threatened, with being just shoved aside while new rules and laws are solely dictated by one man, (or else).

Let us hope it does not go down the same way this time. But at this point, with a president that has said that the Constitution "just gets in the way", and has made just those specific threats to bypass Congress; hoping for a different outcome this time may actually be insane?
