Most environmentalists are not opposed to SMART. But they do have problems with NCRA's plans to ship massive amounts of containers and gravel. It is the bad choice made by SMART to support the NCRA's double speak in these endeavors that gets the environmental community all riled. As long as SMART associates itself with the NCRA it will always be suspect by the environmentalists.
