SP 4449 made all of their trips too California except for the railfair 99 trip to Sacramento back when the Southern Pacific was still around. Since the UP took over the SP lines, that changed the opportunity to operate like they used too to California. Like mentioned in the previous replies above, maybe the next opportunity will be for the 150th celebrations. Would be a good PR move on the UP's part to involve the 4449 Daylight along with their UP 1996 SP heritage unit together and the UP 844 or 4014 meeting in Utah for this special milestone in the rail routes history.
