Drew, I agree with you completely!!! Also, let me add, I HATE COPS!!!! UPRR cops and Amtrak cops are especially bad. There's in big myth in this country that "the police are on your side" and it's BS.

RR police are the ONLY private security force in this country that are armed AND have the powers of arrest. All other corporations have long since disbanded their police forces. Think about it, do airlines, banks, trucking outfits, wall street firms, etc, have their own police? NO!! Also, RR police officers are the best trained, yet on average earn about 25-30% LESS than their counterparts in city or county police. That being said, why would you stick around at a place where you have the best training but make less money than everyone else? Answer, most of them were either the high school bully, or they are too dense to figure out they could make more elsewhere. Most of the RR cops I've met are slobs or have this authority figure attitude that borders on insanity, or both.

There are a few exceptions of course, I've met a few BNSF cops that are good guys. The rest can all be thrown in the same category, USELESS!!!
