Yeah, right. We are at the point we're franchising environmentalists. By NCRA's eir, there is even an office of "friends of the eel river", in petaluma. There is no way, everybody will be happy, period.
I think your too black and white on things. The mission, of the group she represents is a good one, the problem is the extremeness that it taken to. Telephone poles are now
poisonpole. Run for your lives everybody with thousands of poles around Humboldt Bay! If she had her way, there would be no creosote ties. Never mind people using them for landscaping, even to the point of stealing them for the row, and our museum group.
It isn't like the NCRA doesn't want to do the cleanup, it is just limited in funds to do so.
