A condition of the sale is that $5 million goes to retrofitting and repairs of bridges and track. I imagine Sierra Northern could see a significant portion of that.

BTW, none of the money being funded for the purchase and repair of the line may be used for establishing a trail or bike path. If the recreational rail ceases on the line, the County must repay all monies provided by the State.
