The point with Texas is now that it has the same budget shortfall that California does, all the finger pointing regarding California overspending no longer holds water like once did.

Don't get me wrong... there is overspending and stupid spending going on in California.

But the point is that simply cutting and/or not spending, is not the solution either. That was the route Texas took and they arrived in the same ugly hole that California did.
